All set up and ready to begin? Here’s everything you need to know to start your live stream!

Meet the I-CAMZ Streaming Page

From your I-CAMZ account dashboard, find and click the “Stream” button at the top. This is the I-CAMZ streaming page, and it’s where the magic happens! Before you get started, take a look around. You can visit the I-CAMZ streaming help page to take a tour of the layout and features. Additional tips and tricks for running a good show can be found on the Chat Room Management page.

Set a Room Topic

Room topics are a great way to let members know what to expect in your paid show, or just to start a conversation. You can set one before you go live, or anytime during your stream. Find the “Room Topic” box on the left side of the I-CAMZ streaming page. Add a topic and then click “Save.”

Ready? Start Streaming!

Let’s stream! When you’re ready, click the “Start Show” button, then follow the prompts to set up your show. Once your video is live, viewers will be able see that you’re online and can join your chat room to check out your stream.

Watch for Viewers

Your chat room will start empty, but that doesn’t mean no one is watching. The “Potential Members” counter at the bottom of the I-CAMZ streaming page shows the number of viewers who are browsing your stream but aren’t logged into an account. These may be members browsing before they log in, or new members thinking of signing up. If you see these viewers, give them a wink and encourage them to join you!

Chat with Your Guests

If a logged-in member joins your room, you’ll see their name in your member list. Make a good first impression! Most viewers prefer if you use your voice to chat with them, but you can also type or use the saved messages feature to send common responses. If you are sitting far away from your computer, use the font options to make sure you can read new chat messages.

Paid Shows

Members in your chat can click to start a paid show with you. This is your main goal! Some shows will have a pop-up notification and others will begin automatically. You can always check your status at the top of the I-CAMZ streaming page to see if a paid show has started. Paying members will move to the “Paid” portion of your chat room. Make these members your top priority and give them your full attention. The show will end when all members leave the show, or you can stop streaming at any time to end the show.

To learn about the different show types and what to expect when the show starts, read the Paid Shows help page.

Getting Gold

During either a paid show or in free chat, a member might send you tips and gifts. tips and gifts is one-time gift a member can send to show their appreciation. Read the tips and gifts help page to learn more about these earnings!

tips and gifts gifts always show up as an official notification in the chat window. Look for a yellow coin icon in front of the message. You can report members who simply type in a tips and gifts amount but haven’t paid anything.

Stopping Your Stream

When you’re done, click the stop button to turn off your video stream. Members will be notified the show has ended.

While you’re offline, members will still be able to browse your profile, read or reply to your messages, and view your activity feed posts.
